Here is another wide high pommel saddle. It has been used for breaking colts, riding rough horses,
and, likely for roping at one time.
I am unsure of it's age. It appears to be ca. 1930 - 1940 vintage.
The maker is unknown, however, if you look at the pictures, you will see that the maker made it for his/her
sweetheart to ride in.
It has wide, undercut swells (built in bucking rolls), basket stamp pattern all over. It is being
used by my hubby at present, but he recently acquired an older, more comfortable saddle, so this beauty is up for sale.
