More Restored Antique Saddles

The saddle pictured above is a gem that I restored. It is dated between 1850 - 1890. (Has a wooden horn, metal horns did not appear on saddles prior to 1890). This saddle was produced by the Great Western Saddle Company in the province of Alberta, Canada.

This saddle is repaired, restored and ready to ride. I restored it for my hubby, Les Butler.

The changes made to the saddle for comfort and ease of use are the installation of a full leather ground seat, and blevins buckles on the new overleathers on the fenders.
