What this old saddle required was basic cleaning, so it
was taken apart right down to the tree, the leather cleaned, reconditioned, some small patches (on the pommel and seat) and
(hand) stitching done, and the 3/4 rigging was reinforced (with new skirting leather and screws)
It needed a couple of strings, and new latigos as well.

The owner didn't want a high shine on the saddle, so Tandy's Satin Shene
was used as a finish to protect and to waterproof the leather. This saddle, not used in 30 years is now being used to
ride in again.
