The LB Ranch is a boarding stable. Offering board for horses, part and/or full-boarding of our horses, re-training horses and breaking horses for riding or driving.

We are one of the best kept secrets in Manitoba.

We offer daily turnout with the herd, (on approx 80 acres of pasture) warm barn, Hay and Oats twice per day, a nice group of boarders, heated tack room (with BR and sinks) all at reasonable prices.

We also offer short term boarding, as a "Horse Motel", for people travelling with their horses.

Secure Round Pen, (round corral with 7 foot high, "inside rail" fence) for breaking and training horses

Two large outdoor arenas

Miles of trails in the vicinity for our riders' enjoyment

Close to the city of Winnipeg (see Guestbook page for map).

Reasonable rates

Our barn is cleaned daily, and oat straw is used for bedding.

Our Philosophy :

Since Les and Bunny bought the ranch on October 1st, 2001 we have changed the name from "Art Butler's Ranch", to the LB Ranch.

We are adhering to Art's philsophy that horses should be affordable to everyone: "I keep expenses low so that the workingman can afford horses too, not just the wealthy".

Our goal is to: "let horses be horses". To this end, we mix our mares and geldings together in pasture. This provides them with a "herd environment", and lets them interact socially together. (in other words: lets them BE horses!)
